We have finally got our hands on a Butterfly Labs ASIC miner.  As most of you know, production release dates have been a enormous problem for BFL.  The miner we are testing was ordered in March 2013, it was received October 31st 2013. As you can imagine, the wait time essentially nullified any chance of making a quick return on investment.  With ASICs flooding the market, the mining difficulty is pacing with the production numbers.  Want to make a good return on your mining investment?  Get "fast hashing" hardware quickly.

The AMD 7970 chipset, code named "Tahiti", has found one of it's best homes inside the Sapphire 7970 Dual-x graphics card.  Sapphire has done a great job with this card, as it relates to crypto-currency mining.  It sits on top of my favorites list.

Sapphire 7950 Dual-x graphics card review.

The Sapphire AMD 7950 GPU is a fantastic graphics card for crypto mining.  The chipset, code named "Tahiti" in the 7950, is very similar to the 7970 chipset.  The 7950 has 1792 Stream processors, as compared to 2048 stream processors in the 7970.  The performance is impressive, and has broad over clocking ability.
