Ex googler creates a better bitcoin

As crypto-currencies are taking off in the world.  The focus has mainly been on bitcoin.

There have been many alternate versions of crypto-currencies over the years. Many have used the same general technology that lies at the root of bitcoin.  Charles Lee, formerly of Google, created what appears to be the silver to bitcoins gold.  Mr. Lee created Litecoin, which is similar to bitcoin, yet it is quite different.  

Wired, has an excellent article about Mr. Lee, and his time at Google.  His creation of Litecoin, and his new venture at Coinbase.
